We are seeking the services of an Orientation and Mobility Instructor who is organised, motivated and wants to work an exciting and diverse mobility role. You will have the following qualities:
· Relevant tertiary qualifications in Orientation and Mobility.
· Experience in the provision of mobility services.
· Experience in the provision of life skills services.
· The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team with clients of all ages.

Are you an energetic, client focused person who enjoys working in a supportive, multi-disciplinary team?
In this diverse and exciting role you will be responsible for developing and delivering high quality, orientation and mobility assessment and training to a diverse clientele in both individual and group settings. In addition you will regularly monitor and assess programs to achieve client outcome.
The successful applicant must have relevant tertiary qualifications in Orientation and Mobility along with knowledge in aged, disability and sensory loss services. Experience in working with volunteers and knowledge or experience in working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse back grounds would be an advantage.

The Seeing Eye Dog division of Vision
The organisation needs to expand its services to meet growing demand and is seeking two experienced GDMI’s to be based at our National breeding and training facility located in the heart of Melbourne and in Perth, Western Australia.
We are looking for IGDF Qualified Instructors who can fit into our team. We work in a very flexible and client focused way and you will have the opportunity to work with clients on very individually tailored programs.
For the successful applicant we provide a competitive package which includes a vehicle and superannuation. Visa application assistance will be provided. Each position would require someone with strong interpersonal expertise, effective English verbal and written communication skills, have a minimum of two years post graduate GDMI experience, have graduated at a IGDF member school, enjoy field work and working independently away from the training centre and hold a valid drivers licence.
